Vehicle Identification (AVI)

The Model 600A Vehicle Transmitter provides inductively coupled communication, LoopComm™, through a standard roadway loop to a vehicle detector/receiver. The Model 600A continuously transmits a coded radio frequency message for vehicle identification and/or control purposes. An unchangeable code (19,683 separate codes are available) is programmed into the unit at the time of manufacture. The Model 600A is ruggedly built and is designed to be attached to the underside of a vehicle and connected to the vehicle electrical system.

Voltage: 12 Volt DC (11.5 to 15.0), protected from reversal and momentary overvoltage. Models are available by special order for 24 and 36 VDC operation.

Current: 0.065 Amps max.; 0.035 Amps typical.

Codes: 19,683 different codes available. Codes are automatically transmitted once every 15 ms.

RF: 375 kHz, crystal controlled, pulse modulated carrier will comply with FCC part 15 for unlicensed operation.
